Natalie K. Ziemba
Natalie K Ziemba is a metro-Detroit based Artist who specializes in painting & art framing. She graduated from Indiana Wesleyan University (IWU) with a painting degree.
In her college years, she developed a passion to use the Arts in community for spiritual and emotional development. While a student, she began Live Painting at churches and hosting gatherings for students to connect to God through art making. She worked as a Gallery Curator and an Arts & Crafts Leader at summer camps.
After school, she served as a missionary Art Intern at Sojourn Church in Louisville, KY. In that role, she hosted an Art Gallery show, fellowship times for artists to make or share artwork, worked on a community mural, theatre sets, and created her own artwork.
During quarantine, Natalie furthered her artistic studies through the Milan Art Institute Mastery Program, expanding her portfolio. After quarantine, she was commissioned to create paintings for churches and showcased her art at multiple church-based Gallery events and Open Mic Nights.
These experiences led Natalie to become passionate about revitalizing Visual Art expression in churches around the world so that more believers can be engaged in Holy Spirit inspired creativity. She serves as a full-time missionary with United Adoration as their Visual Art Director. In her role, Natalie seeks to partner with ministry leaders and artists across America, in order to host art experiences and opportunities in their community. She believes in creating a culture where artists of all disciplines (visual artists, songwriters, dancers, creative writers & actors) can be mentored, discipled and create art that gives glory to God.
Natalie has a passion for community building & event planning. She hosts Christian Art-making Workshops & Retreats, to facilitate space for guests to connect to the Holy Spirit and fellow creatives. She believes that art-making can provide emotional and mental healing, and she feels called to assist others in their spiritual journey. She has a passion to make art an accessible, healing resource to people of all ages and creative backgrounds
She enjoys collaborating with other artists (musicians, poets, dancers etc.) to plan & host art enrichment events such as gallery exhibitions and Open Mic Nights, where multiple forms of artistry can be showcased. She believes that the arts can be a powerful tool for uplifting individual people and group identities. Natalie’s dream is to cultivate a community of artists who are inspired to create artwork to develop themselves & enrich their community, so that the generations to come will be engaged in God-focused creativity.
Natalie has an in-home art studio where she creates her own artwork that is inspired by her connection with God.
